During Eucharistic adoration, remaining “heart to heart” with Jesus, Carlo Acutis experienced a particularly intimate friendship with him.
Drawing on the experience of the Blessed, Father Michele Munno presents 31 “Eucharistic crumbs” in the book “Hidden in a Little Piece of Bread” (the latest in a series of volumes dedicated to Carlo), that is, a simple adoration outline for each day of the month, containing: a brief Gospel text, a short reflection, an invocation, and a “crumb” taken from Carlo's unpublished notes. So that the text can also be used for communal prayer, an outline for exposition and public adoration is provided, together with a collection of texts, hymns, and prayers.
The wonderful illustrations by Stefano Riboli further embellish a text that is already precious on every page! The hope is that everyone - and young people in particular - may rediscover their own originality by drawing on the sacrament that expresses the extraordinary originality of God's love: the Eucharist.
