To all of you, dear Friends, Shalom Publishing wishes you a holy Easter, through the words of Pope Francis, which are pearls of light and hope.
“It is a great joy for me to wish you a happy Easter and tell you that Christ is risen! I would like this announcement to reach every home, every family, especially where people suffer most, such as hospitals and prisons. I would like it to reach everyone’s hearts because God wants to spread this good news: Jesus is risen. Once again, God’s love and mercy have won, and there is hope for everyone.”
“Christ is risen! And we have the opportunity to open ourselves and receive his gift of hope. Let us open ourselves to hope and set out; may the memory of his deeds and words be a shining light that guides our steps in trust.” “What does it mean that Jesus is risen? It means that God’s love is stronger than evil and death itself; it means that God’s love can transform our lives and make those desert areas in our hearts bloom.”
“Easter is the time for the renewal of the soul: it is time to bloom! I invite you to do so with conviction and trust in the Lord’s love. He is the one who gives you, and will always give you, strength and courage in the difficulties you encounter along your journey.”
“The doors of the universe open, a breeze rises: it is Jesus’ caress. An olive branch, a white dove and the smile of the Holy Father: it is Easter.”
