“A stone rolled in front of the entrance to the tomb.
A heavy boulder that seems to be the definitive word.
That tomb appears to be the final stage of Jesus’ life!
And yet, the final word will be love!
Nothing, not even the tomb, can contain it!
Nothing, not even death, can conquer love!
Carlo was deeply convinced of this; he experienced it every day!
The Eucharist was his highway to life in its fullness! He could therefore rightly affirm: “Our destination must be infinity, not the finite!”.
With Jesus, we journey toward infinity: I’m carrying this thought with me!
