Shalom, which we like to call a family (because that is how we feel it), is a publishing house that has spent more than thirty years experiencing its work as a mission: spreading, through books and gift items, God’s love and his message of joy and salvation!
Our publications are recognizable for their use of images and colors, their graphic design, and their constant commitment to speaking simply to everyone, because everyone must receive the “good news” that we are beloved children of a God who is Love!
Times are changing quickly, however, and over the years the challenge before us has been to use new means of communication (the internet, ebooks, e-commerce…) to continue our mission!
It was in response to this challenge that the idea for the blog was born: a challenge indeed, because we had to learn how to write for a blog; we had to understand what content is suitable for a blog and present it in the right way, without betraying our identity.
So, why read the Shalom blog?
- Because you will find the beauty and care of Edizioni Shalom, combined with the ability to speak to everyone about even complex topics: each of our articles is accompanied by evocative images that complement the text and is written in our style: simple and direct.
- Because we are striving to make this blog increasingly “fresh” in style and content; we are convinced, in fact, that anything can bring us closer to heaven if read through the eyes of hope, the eyes of those who believe in the Word of Jesus. It is with this perspective, then, that we “look around,” ready to recommend films, books, events… that carry a seed of beauty or hope within them, because this is walking in God’s footsteps.
- Because this blog knows how to offer practical advice and point to simple solutions: in addition to books, the publishing house has a wide selection of gift items that can meet every need. In fact, our catalog offers a very wide selection of religious articles and items related to the sacraments and liturgy, where you can find perfect ideas for countless occasions: for example, do you need an idea for an upcoming First Communion or Wedding? Our blog offers useful suggestions and features products of guaranteed quality. And we would like to emphasize that we work with companies that take pride in quality and in being made in Italy!
- Because, as is our tradition, this blog is easy to browse: the main page features the latest articles and, on the right, there is a sidebar showing:
- Recent articles.
- Categories: Advent and Christmas; Blessed Virgin Mary, Devotional Calendar… And many more!
- Archives: here you will find the articles published over the years, organized by month.
One click is all it takes to find what you are looking for!
Discovering our blog means entering even more deeply into the world of Shalom, a world made up of people who live out a mission and work hard every day to provide a service that can reach you easily and is capable not only of meeting your requests, but also of anticipating your needs and, who knows, perhaps surprising you!
Grateful for your trust, we continue to work for you with enthusiasm!
