The Year of Saint Joseph, proclaimed by Pope Francis on December 8, 2020, is allowing us to rediscover the figure of this great saint, a just and silent man who continues to teach us how to live by carrying out God's will, step by step.
Throughout this year, there have been many opportunities for us to offer you a reflection on Saint Joseph. Today, we invite you to discover a little pearl that offers the opportunity to draw closer in yet another way to the figure of this saint. Anthology from the Life of Saint Joseph is a collection of selected passages taken from the Life of Saint Joseph, written by Maria Cecilia Baij (a Benedictine nun who lived in the 1700s) and based on private revelations. Sister Anna Maria Valli, an expert on Baij's spirituality, edited this edition, pairing each passage from the Life with a brief but precious commentary that explains the text and offers points for meditation intended to suggest ways of living a life animated by love, following Joseph's example.
