In our collective imagination, the word “exhibition” evokes the beauty of paintings and sculptures that we go to see. When visiting the exhibition conceived by Blessed Carlo Acutis, however, the true and only work of art we are invited to contemplate is the Eucharist, this immense gift we have received, which we sometimes approach out of habit, without understanding its tremendous power.

Do you know Carlo Acutis?
This young blessed, who died at just 15 from fulminant leukemia, made his short life a place of daily encounter with Jesus: “My highway to heaven”—this is how Carlo described the Eucharist, which he received daily.
The exhibition of Eucharistic miracles
In the exhibition of Eucharistic miracles, created for the web, the young Carlo collected almost all the Eucharistic miracles that have occurred around the world. The panels show images and descriptions of these miraculous events, some of which also took place in Italy and of which, perhaps, we were not even aware.
Many of these miraculous events occurred following the dropping of hosts, priests' doubts during consecration, sacrilege, and similar circumstances.
How many times do we too fall, how many times do we too doubt God's presence in our lives, how many times do we too curse and offend...? It is precisely in these falls, doubts, and offenses of ours that, if we open our hearts to the great gift of the Eucharist, Jesus reaches us with his mercy.
“Some people think miracles do not exist… On the contrary, I believe you only need to look around to discover dozens of them every day,” Carlo used to say!

The greatest miracle
And the Eucharist is the greatest miracle, repeated every time the priest raises the bread and wine on the altar; a miracle that we can all not only witness, but even participate in!
