Chasuble in ultra-lightweight fabric with cross print

Printed chasuble made of 100% microfiber polyester fabric, an extremely lightweight fabric suitable for warmer periods. The chasuble’s design is mainly featured on the front, with a cross and an abstract line pattern that continues onto the back. Entirely made in Italy by a company of skilled artisans that has been working in the sacred vestments sector for many years, creating handcrafted, high-quality products. Available in the 4 liturgical colors. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal identifies the chasuble as the proper vestment of the priest when celebrating Mass and during actions directly connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached the heels, covering every part of the priest’s body. Over time, its length changed considerably, including around the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (planeta). Only during the 20th century did the chasuble take on its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
