Marian chasuble with direct embroidery

Marian chasuble made of 100% polyester fabric, decorated with direct embroidery of the M of Mary on both the front and back. The chasuble comes complete with a matching stole. Made in Italy by a company of skilled artisans. The Principles and Norms for the Use of the Roman Missal indicate the chasuble as the proper vestment of the priest when celebrating the rite of Mass and during actions closely connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached down to the heels, covering every part of the priest's body. Over time, it underwent many changes in length, including on the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (fiddleback chasuble). Only during the 20th century did the chasuble take on its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
