Crown of Our Lady of Sorrows

This chaplet is part of our extensive range of devotional chaplets, specially created, together with practical little booklets, for prayer and meditation, allowing all the faithful to pray their devotion intensely.

To pray this chaplet, we recommend the book "Prayers to the Sorrows and Tears of Our Lady" and "Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin".

The chaplet consists of 7 groups of 7 beads, 6 mm in diameter, made of red mother-of-pearl, separated by medals: each one depicts a sorrow that Mary endured and lovingly offered during her life alongside Jesus. It is used to pray the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin: this is an ancient form of prayer that Our Lady herself helped people rediscover during her apparitions in Kibeho (1981-1989), the first apparitions recognized by the Church in Africa. During these apparitions, the Virgin taught this Rosary to the visionary Marie Claire, recommending that she recite it at least twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, and spread it.
