Restorative and antioxidant face cream with royal jelly and olive unsaponifiables, produced and packaged by the Cistercian nuns of Valserena. Suitable for dry and dehydrated skin. Royal Jelly: commonly known as royal jelly, it is produced by a secretion from nurse bees' glands and is the primary nourishment of larvae and the queen bee, as it contains polyphenols, flavonoids, and vitamins. It has nourishing properties, deeply hydrates the skin, replenishing the vitamins, essential lipids, and emollient substances essential for achieving young, soft, and intensely protected skin. As an antioxidant, it protects the skin from the negative effects of UV rays and therefore from premature skin aging. Revitalizing, it promotes cell regeneration and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. Olive oil unsaponifiables provide the skin with important protective compounds, such as phytosterols and waxes, which give the product emollient, softening, and lipid-replenishing properties, enhancing its protective effects.

Packaged in a convenient 50 ml jar.

Directions: Apply once a day, massaging until completely absorbed, preferably in the evening before going to bed, after thoroughly washing with a gentle cleanser.

Historical background: Since 1968, products for personal care have been made in the laboratory of the Valserena Cistercian Monastery. This activity supports the community and helps foundations in mission territories. The monastery belongs to the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance, a monastic institute wholly devoted to contemplative life. Within the enclosure, the nuns devote themselves to the worship of God according to the Rule of Saint Benedict.
