God got his hands dirty. The pure and humble love of God

God Got His Hands Dirty. The Pure and Humble Love of God by Brother Stefano Vita explores the theme of God’s humility, starting from the image of a God who draws near to humanity and who, out of love, “gets his hands dirty” with its history and fragility.

The journey begins with the experience of Saint Francis of Assisi and develops through several central themes: mercy, poverty, welcome, obedience, forgiveness, and overcoming fear.

The book also includes references to Mary, Saint Paul the Apostle, life testimonies, and works of art, used to explore the various aspects of humility and mercy.

The text guides readers on a journey centered on God’s love for humanity, expressed in creation, the incarnation, the Passion, and Jesus’ closeness to sinners.
