Don Bosco. The Saint Who Educated Through Love

In a world where we are increasingly aware of the importance of education, while at the same time recognizing the educational emergency, here is a publication that introduces us to an eminent figure in the field of education: Saint John Bosco. The life of Don Bosco fascinates everyone, young and old alike; and this is because anyone who reads it, whatever their age, can say: “I can do that too!” The first part of the text recounts the key episodes in the life of Saint John Bosco; the second focuses on some aspects of his spirituality that are useful for personal meditation; the appendix confirms how much the universal Church, through its pastors, appreciates and values this great saint, bestowing on him the title of “Father and Teacher of Youth.” Written in a clear and accessible style, the book draws extensively on the saint’s direct testimony and that of those who lived with him. Don Bosco tells his story to help readers view their own lives as an opportunity to do good.
