Don Umberto Terenzi. The Apostle of Divine Love

This publication, entirely devoted to the life of Father Umberto Terenzi (1900-1974), reveals the exquisite humanity and simplicity of this Servant of God, the first rector and parish priest of the Shrine of Our Lady of Divine Love (Rome). If it had not been for him, who took the shrine to heart in 1930, the famous sanctuary on the Via Ardeatina might today be a forgotten ruin. His love for Jesus and Mary enabled Father Umberto to “move mountains” and, as the tireless worker he was, he overcame every adversity, hardship, slander, and lack of resources in order to carry out his mission. Learning about his life inspires passion, courage, strength, and hope in the heart. Father Umberto Terenzi is capable of infecting anyone with the Goodness he carries in his heart.
