#Engaged Couples. A Journey of Life and Prayer

Is it possible to experience engagement as a time of human and Christian growth? How can couples build a solid relationship during their engagement? How can they plan their family life together? What is the value of sexuality? This book aims to provide concrete answers to engaged couples’ questions, illuminated by the wisdom of the Gospel, so that they can rediscover together the fundamental laws of love. This resource is intended for engaged couples, so that they may discover the beauty and challenge of love’s maturation on a journey toward Marriage. Step by step, without rushing through the stages, it presents a selection of topics (not too many, and not all of them!), which lead to proposals for reflection and participation, both individually and as a couple. It encourages them to continue reflecting after each meeting and fosters in engaged couples the desire to explore further certain aspects that, necessarily, are only mentioned or touched on briefly. It also outlines some prayer prompts that offer a glimpse of the Christian significance of the situation engaged couples are experiencing. The manual is also intended for those who organize or lead parish Marriage preparation courses.
