Jesus and the Women of the Gospel. Eight stories of hope and mercy

Eight women, eight intense stories, through which Father Bruno Tarantino, with his unmistakable style, shows us the merciful and revolutionary face of God. In an era when women were considered marginal to society and religion, Jesus overturns every convention: he sees them, calls them, listens to them, heals them, and makes them protagonists. Figures such as the woman with the hemorrhage, the Canaanite woman, the adulterous woman, and the bent woman become central to the story of grace. Their stories invite us to the most fundamental conversion of all: changing our idea of God. We are called to “discard” un-Gospel-like views in order to discover the Father who knows and loves us. These women of faith dare to act and show us that God reveals himself not through power or rules, but through relationship and grace; they are women and stories that still speak to us today, telling us that in the Gospel, existential peripheries become central places of divine love.
