The Saints of the Missal. Dolindo Ruotolo. His Life: «Jesus, Take Care of It Yourself»

Based on his autobiography, this book reconstructs the life of Don Dolindo Ruotolo, a Neapolitan priest rich in charisms. He said of himself: “I was called Dolindo, which means sorrow?” And sorrow is the constant note of his life, but it is a sorrow always illuminated by the love of God and always welcomed as a grace. In a world like ours, where pain is avoided and hidden, Don Dolindo teaches the profound value that suffering acquires for the soul; he teaches the value of obedience and silence, in the name of a greater love. “When you see that things are becoming complicated, say with the eyes of your soul closed: ‘Jesus, take care of it!’” This is what he did throughout his life, and this is what he invites us to do.
