The Saints of the Missal. Eurosia Fabris Barban. Her Life: Faces of Motherhood

Father Gianluigi Pasquale’s well-documented biographical profile reconstructs the life of Blessed Eurosia Fabris Barban, better known to many as Mama Rosa: she was an adoptive, biological and foster mother who cared for infected and sick people. With her ever-present apron full of food for the poor, she managed to turn every place she lived in into a home: the stable, the room where she taught lessons using her skills as a seamstress? These pages confront us with the life of “a wonderful figure of the 20th century, a woman, wife and mother. Certainly one of us, who nevertheless knew how to transform history into a history of salvation by living everyday life in an exceptional way” (the Author, from the Introduction).
