The Saints of the Missal. Monica. Her Life. Her Message

This volume dedicated to Saint Monica is the second in the new series, The Saints of the Messalino, which aims to give readers the opportunity to get to know the most beloved saints more closely, as the Messalino provides a brief profile of each of them. The book - small and practical in format, with an affordable price - draws on the authoritative source of Saint Augustine's Confessions (Saint Monica's son) to present a concise biographical profile of Monica, allowing readers to know her as a wife and mother and then draw from this portrait the message conveyed by her life, discovering her above all as a woman of prayer. Prayer, in fact, is the constant of her life and what still enables her to speak to everyone today: this woman wove her days into an unbroken dialogue with God; this is her "secret," the inexhaustible source of her strength.
