Our Lady of Częstochowa icon, in silver. Dimensions 13x18 cm

A highly valuable icon, mounted on a walnut wood support, made of Mirò silver with gilded decorations. The icon depicts Our Lady of Częstochowa, the patron saint of Poland. This icon is notable for the marks on the Madonna’s face, caused by acts of vandalism during wartime, when the Madonna miraculously began to bleed. The scars are still visible on the original icon today. The icon can be hung or displayed using the stand included in the box. Hand-finished with meticulous attention to detail. Made entirely in Italy by a leading company specializing in silver artwork.
