Our Lady of Vilnius icon, in silver. Dimensions 9x13 cm

Precious icon mounted on a walnut wood backing, made of Mirò silver with gilded decorations. The icon depicts Our Lady of Vilnius, also known as Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn, and takes its name from the chapel located in the Gate of Dawn, a fortification built in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The original painting was also covered in silver and gold, leaving only the hands and face uncovered. The icon can be hung or displayed using the stand included in the box. Hand-finished with meticulous attention to detail. Made entirely in Italy by a leading company specializing in the production of silver pictures.
