The Name of God Is Mercy

The Name of God Is Mercy contains a lengthy conversation between Pope Francis and Andrea Tornielli, a journalist, writer, Vatican expert, and Editorial Director of the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See. The book is divided into nine chapters and 40 questions, centered on the theme closest to his heart - mercy - which has always been the focus of his witness and pastoral ministry. Francis - through memories of his youth and moving episodes from his experience as a pastor - speaks to all souls, inside and outside the Church, who are seeking meaning in life, a path of peace and reconciliation, and healing for physical and spiritual wounds. It is a synthesis of his teaching and pontificate. The book's title on the cover is handwritten by Pope Francis.
