The Wonderful Secret of the Holy Rosary. Includes the apostolic letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae

Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort speaks of this admirable prayer in the work «The Secret of the Rosary», drawing the reader into love for the Virgin Mary. The text includes an introduction in which the author addresses priests, sinners, devotees, and children, praising the Holy Rosary and inviting everyone to pray it. Following the structure of the Rosary, the text is then divided into decades of ten «roses». From rose to rose, the saint traces, through accounts drawn from various authors, the origins of this form of devotion and describes the miraculous atmosphere in which it developed over the centuries. Montfort thus conveys the beauty, power, and effectiveness of the Rosary and proposes methods for praying it well, promising great spiritual graces to those who pray it faithfully every day. The Holy Rosary opens every path: it fosters self-knowledge; helps one find balance; supports couples in facing daily problems; strengthens family bonds; facilitates relationships with colleagues at work; but above all, keeps Satan away from one's life.
