The spiritual legacy of Benedict XVI

Monsignor Bruno Forte outlines, in just a few pages, the fundamental elements of Benedict XVI's spiritual legacy, also sharing an intimate and personal letter that the theologian Pope had written to him to explain the reasons that had led him to leave the Petrine ministry and withdraw into meditation and prayer. The author offers readers an intense portrait of Benedict XVI that retraces his theological journey and the message of his encyclicals. He then presents the fundamental elements that characterized him - his style, faith, and humanity - as the keys to grasping his thought and the great value it retains as a precious legacy for the Church and the human family. The text concludes with the beautiful prayer that the Pope wrote one year after his visit to the Sanctuary of the Holy Face of Manoppello.
