The Gospel as Revealed to Me. Volume IV

Volume four of the work «The Gospel as Revealed to Me» by Maria Valtorta covers the second year of Jesus' life. The complete work consists of 10 volumes. It recounts the birth and childhood of the Virgin Mary and her Son Jesus, the three years of Jesus' public life (which make up its largest section), his passion, death, resurrection, and ascension, the beginnings of the Church, and Mary's assumption. The complete work vividly describes landscapes, settings, people, and events as if in a real-life portrayal; it presents characters and situations and conveys joys and dramas with the feelings of someone who is actually taking part; and it provides information about environmental features, customs, rites, and cultures.
