The hour of Divine Mercy. The passion of crucified Love

The hour of the Lord Jesus' death, three o'clock in the afternoon, is a privileged time for devotion to Divine Mercy. Don Pasqualino di Dio offers us a precious aid for experiencing this moment with intensity and depth and thus honoring Jesus' passion and death on the cross with devotion. Indeed, Jesus says to Saint Faustina: «Whenever you hear the clock strike three, immerse yourself entirely in My Mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world and especially for poor sinners, for it was at that hour that it was opened wide for every soul. At that hour you will obtain everything for yourself and for others.» And He promises: «At that hour I will refuse nothing to the soul that prays to Me through My Passion.» Devotion to Divine Mercy, the Word of God, wisely chosen meditations, and prayers will help each person enter into the great mystery of God's mercy. An invitation to prayer, then, but also an invitation to show mercy toward our weaker brothers and sisters, putting into practice the words of Pope Francis: «Having received mercy, let us show mercy!»
