Pray, eat, love. Spiritual exercises on the Gospel of Luke

An authentic school of prayer in the company of the evangelist Luke. The purpose is not to perform an intellectual exercise, but to follow Someone who has changed our lives. In other words, to adopt the attitude of the disciples and understand that our lives are deeply intertwined with the experience of Christ. For this to happen, we need the Gospel and, above all, Luke, the evangelist who more than anyone else shows us what the true identity of a disciple should be. Luke is in no hurry and, page after page, “paints” Christ, presenting his image as in a picture; from this, he reveals the role of the Church, the importance of prayer, and the beauty of allowing ourselves to be permeated by God’s grace. In these pages, the reader embarks, in the company of Luke, on a journey that begins with listening to oneself and explores the fundamental themes of our being the Church and disciples of Christ.
