Stars are carved into the dome, allowing the light from the tealight (not included) to shine through. A beautiful item to keep at home or give as a gift, including during the Christmas holidays. Kenty was founded as a solidarity project designed to create opportunities for employment and growth in communities far from us, often in particularly disadvantaged areas such as Peru, Ecuador, Thailand, and Indonesia. Years of work on cooperation projects, a passion for all forms of folk art and handicrafts, professional expertise developed in the field, and plenty of enthusiasm have been the ingredients for carrying this project forward with artisan families, refugees, and small cooperatives of young people. Together, Kenty produces nativity scenes, objects, small pieces of furniture, and jewelry that are entirely handmade, using eco-friendly materials, with careful attention to recycling and the artisanal techniques of each country. Each product is created through teamwork, bringing together creativity and different stories, with the specific intention of evolving the past toward the future and becoming a means of communication between worlds so far apart that they often do not know one another.
