Stone-effect dome picture "Immaculate Madonna" with easel. Dimensions 16x23 cm

Lovely little stone-effect resin plaque, measuring 16x23 cm, with a stand so it can either be placed on a surface or hung. It depicts the Immaculate Madonna, or Immaculate Conception, a dogma of the Catholic Church affirming that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was conceived without original sin. According to Catholic doctrine, this means that Mary was preserved from original sin from the moment of her conception, in preparation for her role as the mother of Jesus Christ. The feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated on December 8 and represents an important moment of Marian devotion for Catholics, who honor Mary as the woman chosen by God to bring the Savior into the world.
