Our Lady of Good Counsel picture in wood with a silver-leaf frame. Dimensions 9x13,5 cm

Wooden picture with elegant silver leaf details along the edges, enhancing it and making it a precious object. It depicts Our Lady of Good Counsel. Mother of Good Counsel, or Our Lady of Shkodër, is one of the titles by which Mary, the mother of Jesus, is invoked. Of ancient, presumably Albanian origin, it became particularly popular after an image of the Virgin with the child Jesus was found in the sanctuary of Genazzano; it had previously been housed in the Cathedral of Shkodër in Albania. The devotion was spread by the Augustinian friars who officiated at the church. Pope Leo XIII added the invocation Mater Boni Consilii to the Litany of Loreto. This small picture, made in Italy, has a hole for hanging and is also equipped with a metal stand if you prefer to place it on a piece of furniture, shelf, or bookcase. It comes in a transparent plastic box and features a refined design and bright, vivid colors, making it an elegant product suitable for any home environment. Dimensions: 9x13.5 cm
