Saint Rita of Cascia. Her life and veneration

The book presents the life and “world” of Saint Rita of Cascia in an accessible way and is organized into several sections. Life: a biographical profile retraces Saint Rita’s story. Message and symbolism: it offers a reflection on the message that can be drawn from her life and on the “symbols” associated with her (the bees, the rose, the thorn?). Worship: it provides useful information about the feast and the spread of devotion to Saint Rita in Italy. Places: the text offers a brief guided tour of the places associated with the Saint, particularly the Basilica and the Monastery.
