Saint Benedict statue in silver-plated metal with an olive wood base. Height 6,5 cm

Charming and detailed statue depicting Saint Benedict, made of silver-plated resin. After being silver-plated, the statue is immersed in black varnish and then brushed by hand, so all the statue's beautiful details remain clearly visible. The statue rests on a sturdy and elegant base made of high-quality olive wood. Thanks to its small size, it is suitable for display in any home environment, and can also be kept on an office desk. The saint is depicted holding a chalice with a snake emerging from it, recalling an episode involving Saint Benedict himself: he is said to have shattered, with the sign of the cross, the cup containing poisoned wine given to him by some monks who wanted to take his life. The saint's medal is set into the base of the statue.
