St. Carlo Acutis statue, made of wood. Height 190 cm

This linden wood statue of Saint Carlo Acutis, entirely hand-carved and hand-painted with oil paints, was made in Italy by a workshop of artisans specializing in creating statues of saints and blesseds for churches, chapels, and cathedrals. In addition to giving the statue exceptional beauty, the wood also ensures long-lasting durability and makes each statue unique. The added value of this statue lies in the fact that it was made under the supervision of Carlo’s mother, Mrs. Antonia Salzano, using photos and videos of the saint to make it as lifelike and accurate as possible. The workshop, whose expertise Editrice Shalom relies on, has been operating for more than 140 years and has seen five generations of artisans succeed one another, hand-carving wooden sculptures that are true works of art.
