St. Thérèse of Lisieux statue, in resin. Height 30 cm

Beautiful 30 cm tall statue, made of resin and painted with the utmost attention to detail and color shading. The statue, made entirely of colored resin, depicts Saint Thérèse of Lisieux.

Made in Italy by skilled artisans specializing in the production of resin and fiberglass statues. Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, known as Thérèse of Lisieux, was a French Carmelite nun.

Beatified on April 29, 1923, by Pope Pius XI, she was canonized by the same pontiff on May 17, 1925.

She is the patron saint of missionaries, together with Saint Francis Xavier. Her liturgical feast is celebrated on October 1. She wrote her autobiography, entitled "Story of a Soul," which has inspired multitudes of believers and deeply affected many nonbelievers as well.
