Descrizione
Stole with beautiful gold embroidery depicting the Pax and cross symbol. Made of 100% polyester fabric. Available in the various liturgical colors: ivory, red, green, pink, and purple. The stole’s overall length is 256 cm, and when worn it extends well below the knee. Pairs with chasuble code 41081 The use of the stole is always mandatory during celebrations and rites for bishops, priests, and deacons (who, however, use a different stole, as they must wear it differently from priests). When wearing it, the priest (bishop or presbyter) lets it hang straight from the shoulders down to the legs, while the deacon wears it diagonally, from the left shoulder to the right hip. Over time, the stole has evolved in its symbolism: it initially represented the office that deacons and priests accepted during ordination, and later came to symbolize the virtues of the priest, making it a symbol of humility, wisdom, patience, purity, and fortitude.
