Priest's stole in shaded fabric with a golden cross

Priestly stole made primarily of wool with small percentages of viscose and polyester, featuring a subtly shaded fabric. Embellished with a gold-tone metal chain. The gold-colored Cross embroidery is made directly on the stole. The stole has a total length of 280 cm and, when worn, extends well below the knee. Made in Italy by a company specializing in the production of sacred vestments. The use of the stole is always mandatory during celebrations and rites for bishops, priests, and deacons (who use a different stole, as they wear it differently from priests). When wearing it, the priest (bishop or presbyter) lets it hang straight from the shoulders to the legs, while the deacon wears it diagonally, from the left shoulder to the right hip. Over time, the symbolism of the stole has evolved: initially, it represented the office that deacons and priests accepted during ordination; later, it came to symbolize the virtues of the priest, making it a symbol of humility, wisdom, patience, purity, and fortitude.
