Passing on the faith at the school of our son Carlo Acutis

It is unusual—indeed, extremely rare—for parents to witness the beatification of their own child. It is equally unusual for parents to be led back to faith and Christian life through their child. All this happened in the lives of Antonia and Andrea, Carlo Acutis’s parents. Carlo was born in London in 1991 and died in Monza in 2006. He was beatified by Pope Francis on October 10, 2020. In this interview, Antonia and Andrea retrace the journey they made with Carlo. They share with us certain aspects of their everyday lives, in which Carlo’s faith matured. As we read these personal accounts, we will discover that this was not an extraordinary life, but an ordinary one, within everyone’s reach. An interview by Giorgio Maria Carbone.
