A knight who became a pilgrim. Learning to choose at the school of Ignatius of Loyola

The booklet by Father Pietro Schiavone, S.I., Discernment in order to «live» ad maiorem Dei gloriam, accompanies the DVD «A knight who became a pilgrim. Learning to choose at the School of Ignatius of Loyola». Cardinal Salvatore De Giorgi noted that «at the school of St. Ignatius we can learn to choose the true paths to the happiness we all desire, which consists in the holiness to which we are all called». To people today, increasingly distant from God, overwhelmed by noise, disoriented by secularism, seduced by materialism, swept up in compulsive consumerism and therefore unable to perceive the values of silence, contemplation, self-knowledge, conversion and renewal of life, the Exercises present these values anew with vigor, rekindling faith, inspiring hope and stimulating active charity - that true love open to everyone, which Jesus gave us so that we might give it to others. Antonella Luberti's DVD helps us grasp this message.
