March is dedicated to Saint Joseph, who is a “father in tenderness,” as Pope Francis reminded us. “It does us good […] to reflect ourselves in Joseph’s fatherhood, which is a reflection of God’s fatherhood, and to ask ourselves whether we allow the Lord to love us with his tenderness, transforming each of us into men and women capable of loving in this way. […] We need a revolution of tenderness!” (Pope Francis). Let us invoke Saint Joseph with faith and imitate his example, his courage, and his ability to love tenderly. Let us also look to the example of the saints we remember this month.
On March 2, Ash Wednesday, the season of Lent begins. Let us not allow this favorable time to pass in vain. Let us take advantage of these days to take stock of our life of faith, aided by the Word of God and by readings and meditations. Always keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the center around which every action and every thought of ours revolves.
