The desire to be holy
Are we firmly convinced that everyone is called to be holy and that holiness is for everyone? With the solemnity of All Saints, the Church invites us to turn our gaze and hearts toward the many people who, like us, passed through this world, facing difficulties and temptations similar to ours, and overcame them. Looking to their example, we are encouraged to rekindle within ourselves the intense desire to be like them, people completely suffused with God's light, and to be happy.
This is the vocation of us all, strongly reaffirmed in the teaching of Pope Francis, especially in the apostolic exhortation Gaudete et exsultate, and brought back to our attention on November 1.
But how can we become saints, that is, friends of God?
To be holy, it is not necessary to perform extraordinary deeds and works or possess exceptional charisms: holiness consists in living out our everyday life - our work, studies, relationships with others, leisure, and friendship with Jesus.

The fullness of life
Carlo and all the saints teach us that being holy means living life to the fullest, following Jesus: walking with him without losing heart in the face of difficulties, walking the path of the Beatitudes.
The saints are friends and role models in life for us. Let us invoke them to help us imitate them on the path to a fulfilled life.
