The “On Your Word” Daily Missal is our pride and joy! If you are not yet familiar with it, or would like to rediscover it, today we present it to you: it is a treasure chest of wonders, a unique tool for living, meditating on and celebrating the Word of God every day and making it a concrete part of our daily lives… Moreover, it contains many other treasures!
Mass “at your fingertips” every day!
The first thing to know is that the “On Your Word” Daily Missal provides the Mass readings and their corresponding commentaries (FOR ALL THE READINGS!) every day.
Every two months, generous and wise priests work with us to write simple commentaries that help us discover the wonders contained in the Word of God and feel that this Word speaks directly to us, in our present day. The resolution for the day then helps us put into practice what we have read and/or heard, so that the Word may become Life.
Each Daily Missal also includes the Order of Mass so that it can be followed along with the celebrant, even when it is not possible to be present at the celebration.
The spiritual reflections, meditations and in-depth texts on the liturgy and the meaning of Christian feasts make it truly UNIQUE!
Beyond the liturgy… rediscovering the saints as companions on our journey
The liturgy is certainly the most important part of the Daily Missal, but Shalom has enriched it with an immense number of profiles of the saints: every day, in fact, a figure is presented from among saints, blesseds, venerables, servants of God and witnesses… We are convinced that the saints can show us the way to true happiness and are capable of illuminating our lives: just try it and see how much their lives can speak to ours!
And that’s not all!
In its second part, the Missal opens the doors of prayer to all those who, together with the Liturgy, also want to discover and experience the world of devotion. In fact, every two-month period offers prayers before and after Communion, spiritual Communion, the Holy Rosary, daily prayers, an outline for an examination of conscience, prayers and novenas specific to each month, in-depth content on the classics of spirituality (e.g., The Imitation of Christ) and on the Catechism (e.g., the Compendium).
And to keep up with the times…
The “Sulla Tua Parola” Missal is for everyone: adults, children, young people, and seniors, because it is complete, easy to use, practical to take with you, and offers so much at a truly competitive price! Could we have stopped there? Of course! But we decided to make it even richer, more beautiful, and more inspiring by adding multimedia content available online for free (additional novenas, prayers, in-depth content, video catechesis) that can be accessed simply by scanning a QR code.
