First reflection of the third week of Lent
To make the most of the third week of Lent, Editrice Shalom is giving you six days in the company of Blessed Carlo Acutis – Day One.
«The highway, traveled swiftly by Blessed Carlo Acutis, is his personal Way of the Cross. In Christ, with Christ, and for Christ, he traveled this road in a short time: from May 18, 1991, until he gave his life in a supreme act of love on the altar of his hospital bed at San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, on October 12, 2006. In light of this premise, I have attempted to comment on the fourteen stations of the Way of the Cross, starting from the luminous and fully fulfilled life experience of Blessed Carlo Acutis.
“What then shall I do with what you call the King of the Jews?” (Mk 15:12).
Every moment of life is a choice to be made.
At every moment, we are faced with a choice: Jesus or Barabbas?
Listen deeply to your heart, or follow the crowd?
For Carlo, at every moment of his life, the choice was clear: “To be always united with Jesus, this is my life program.”
Do I feel the strength of friendship with Jesus in my life? Do I want to live united with him, like Carlo?
