Third reflection of the third week of Lent
To make the most of the third week of Lent, Shalom Publishing is giving you five days in the company of Blessed Carlo Acutis – Day Three.
“A mother’s gaze is the only gaze capable of looking deep into her child’s heart. In the encounter between the Mother and Jesus on the Way of the Cross, she encounters the ‘passionate’ heart of God, who loves humanity to madness, a heart that beats in unison with her own heart. Mary’s heart is capable of ‘infecting’ others with Jesus’ love.
This is why Carlo prayed the Rosary every day, training his heart, at the Mother’s school, to beat in unison with the heart of Jesus. For this reason, Carlo often said: “Our Lady is the only woman in my life”.
Mary is a Mother who loves me; today I let this thought rest in my heart.
