Anthology from the life of Saint Joseph

This book is an anthology of passages from The Life of Saint Joseph, written by Maria Cecilia Baij, a Benedictine nun who lived in the 1700s, and based on private revelations. Sister Annamaria Valli, an expert on Baij's spirituality, accompanies each passage from The Life with a brief but valuable commentary that not only explains the text but also offers points for meditation, with the aim of suggesting ways to live a life inspired by Christian love, beginning with an intense and continuous relationship with Jesus, as Baij did, and also drawing inspiration from Saint Joseph's actions. The anthology also includes a section inviting readers to pray to Saint Joseph using the words of Maria Cecilia Baij. These pages offer an opportunity to approach the figure of Saint Joseph in a new way and to gain a closer understanding of the greatness of this deeply beloved saint.
