Blessed Bartolo Longo. The Madonna needs a lawyer

Bartolo Longo is an “apostle of the Rosary,” and praying the Rosary has set the rhythm of his life and work: “If you seek salvation, spread the Rosary. Whoever spreads the Rosary is saved.” That is why Ivan Licinio, who tells us his story and outlines his spirituality in this book, follows the structure of the Rosary: the Word of God opens each mystery/chapter, and a prayer drawn from Bartolo Longo’s writings closes it. As you read, you will discover that Bartolo Longo is a genius of holiness! He was a lawyer, missionary, writer, urban planner, educator, journalist, builder, manager, publisher, teacher, founder, mystic, and saint. And all at the same time! Taking a middle path between a biography and a hagiography, the Author tells his life story in a way that can speak to ours and explains simply what was a true Big Bang for the Valley of Pompeii!
