Carlo Acutis. In the footsteps of Francis and Clare of Assisi

The holiness of Carlo Acutis (London, May 3, 1991-Monza, October 12, 2006) was recognized in record time: July 1, 2018, decree on heroic virtues; October 10, 2020, beatification; canonization announced for September 7, 2025. Who is Carlo? A young man of our time, full of life and interests, passionate about computer science, with a heart full of God and in love with Jesus in the Eucharist. Although he lived in Milan, he periodically stayed in Assisi with his family, deepening his spiritual journey in the footsteps of Francis and Clare. Three figures so different and original, separated by time yet united by a common thread that this book, featuring a handwritten note by Pope Francis, brings to light. He is buried in the Shrine of the Renunciation. Italian Franciscan Publishing House
