Chasuble with a central gold cross

Beautiful polyester chasuble with a central cross. The special feature of this chasuble is that the cross, placed in the center, is made from a different fabric than the rest of the vestment. It is also hand-cut and sewn onto the chasuble with the embroidery around the cross. Available in the 4 liturgical colors. Entirely made in Italy by a company of skilled artisans that has been operating in the sacred vestments sector for many years, creating handcrafted products of the highest quality. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal indicates the chasuble as the proper vestment worn by the priest when celebrating Mass and during actions directly connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached the heels, covering every part of the priest's body. Over time, its length changed considerably, including around the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (pianeta). Only during the 20th century did the chasuble take on its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
