Chasuble with central band embroidered with gold and black thread

Embroidered chasuble made of 100% polyester, with a panel on the front and back embroidered with gold and black thread. Available in the 4 liturgical colors, plus a Marian variant: a blue panel on an ivory chasuble. Entirely made in Italy by a company of skilled artisans that has been operating in the sacred vestments sector for many years, creating handcrafted products of the highest quality. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal identifies the chasuble as the proper vestment of the priest when celebrating Mass and during actions directly connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached the heels, covering every part of the priest's body. Over time, it underwent many changes in length, including around the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (the fiddleback chasuble). It was only during the 20th century that the chasuble acquired its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
