Descrizione
Chasuble made of a polyester and wool blend fabric, with a central embroidered panel featuring a Marian Symbol in gold and silver thread and a floral motif extending beneath the trigram. On the back, the ornamental embroidery is repeated along the entire length of the stole. Available in the 4 liturgical colors, plus pink (used on the third Sunday of Advent and the fourth Sunday of Lent). Made in Poland by a company of artisans. Can be paired with stoles code 41011 and 42945 The General Instruction of the Roman Missal indicates the chasuble as the proper vestment of the priest when celebrating Mass and during actions closely connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached the heels, covering every part of the priest's body. Over time, it underwent many changes in length, including around the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (pianeta). Only during the 20th century did the chasuble take on its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
