Polyester chasuble with cross and wheat-ear embroidery

Chasuble made of 100% polyester, decorated with direct embroidery on both the front and back depicting the cross with wheat ears and the prayer lamp. The chasuble comes complete with a matching stole. Available in the 4 liturgical colors and in pink. Entirely made in Italy by a company of skilled artisans that has been operating in the sacred vestments sector for many years, creating handcrafted products of the highest quality. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal identifies the chasuble as the proper vestment of the priest when celebrating Mass and during actions directly connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached the heels, covering every part of the priest's body. Over time, its length changed considerably, including around the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (planeta). Only during the 20th century did the chasuble assume its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
