Chasuble embroidered with a gold cross

Chasuble made of polyester fabric. Suitable for everyday use. On the front, it features a gold embroidered cross and is available in the 4 liturgical colors plus pink (which is used on the third Sunday of Advent and the fourth Sunday of Lent). The General Instruction of the Roman Missal identifies the chasuble as the proper vestment of the priest when celebrating Mass and performing actions closely connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached down to the heels, covering every part of the priest's body. Over time, its length underwent many changes, including on the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (planeta). It was only during the 20th century that the chasuble took on its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
